I förra veckan var jag på Laser & Estetik och testade en annorlunda typ av skin booster – man använder nämligen en så kallad U225-pistol under behandlingen, vilket gör att man kan ställa in exakt hur stor droppe av hyaluronsyra som injiceras, men även hur djupt den ska injiceras (med tanke på att man har tunnare hy närmre ögat och tjockare hud på kinderna) samt hastigheten. Pistolen fungerar som en symaskin(och låter lite som en också haha) som skapar rutmönster i huden och injicerar flera hundra stick per sida, något som inte är möjligt om man gör behandlingen för hand. Inställningarna skräddarsys utifrån patientens hy, önskemål och behov. Vi lade även en bedövningssalva en halvtimme innan, som tydligen främst används för att den drar ihop blodkärlen och gör att man blöder mindre. Men jag är rätt glad att jag inte kände någonting över huvud taget haha. Det ser ju lite läskigt ut med blodet men man får ju en fin effekt med att alla små stick som triggar kollagenbildningen – utöver den fukt och hyaluronsyra som injiceras.
Efteråt var jag ganska röd och fick många små lila prickar. Det försvann succesivt men tog nog ändå en vecka innan jag kände att kinden var återställd. Jag kan se en liten effekt nu av att mina kinder känns mer fylliga men man bör göra tre stycken för att man ska se mer tydliga resultat. Jag ska göra en till i nästa vecka och då ska vi se om vi kan gå lite högre upp och lite mer runt munnen – anledningen till att man undviker vissa områden med pistolen är att områden som t.ex pannan har så tunn hud och att det finns många små blodkärl, vilket gör att det finns en risk att det skadar mer än att det gör nytta. Jag avvaktar med att ge en komplett recension tills jag avslutat behandlingen.

Last week I was at Laser & Estetik and tested a different type of skin booster – you use a so-called U225-gun during the treatment, which means that you can set exactly how large drop of hyaluronic acid injected, but also how deeply it should be injected (given that you have thinner skin closer to the eye and thicker skin on the cheeks) and speed. The gun works like a sewing machine (and sounds like one too haha) that creates a pattern in the skin and inject several hundred ones per cheek, which is not possible if you do the treatment by hand. The settings are tailored to the patient’s skin, desires and needs. We also put a topical anesthetic half an hour before, apparently that’s mainly used to retract blood vessels and makes you bleed less. But I am quite happy that I didn’t feel anything at all haha. It looks after a bit scary with the blood but you get a nice effect that triggers collagen formation – in addition to the moisture and hyaluronic acid that is injected.
Afterwards I was pretty red and had many small purple dots. They disappeared gradually, but it took about a week before I felt that my cheeks were restored. I can see a small effect now that my cheeks feels more voluminous but you should do three treatments in order to see more visible results. I’ll do another one next week and then we’ll see if we can go a little higher and a little more around the mouth – the reason you avoid certain areas with the pistol is that areas such as the forehead has such thin skin and there are many small blood vessels, which means that there is a risk that it harms more than do good. I will wait until Im done with all treatments before I give you a full review.
